Benjamin Donaldson, artist and photographer.  His photographs are in the collection of the Yale University Libraries, Yale University Art Gallery as well as private collections.  Several solo shows: at Yale University School of Art 2001,  “Mouth of the Hudson”, Jen Bekman Gallery, 2003,  Kimball Union Acadamy, NH entitled “Terrain”, 2004, and “Summerland” at Jen Bekman.  Numerous national and international group shows.  Publications include Artnews, Details, House and Garden, Newsweek, The New Yorker, The New York Times, Nylon, The Manchester Guardian(UK), The Yale University Literary Magazine, Time Magazine Style, V Man, and W.  Commercial clients include Yale University.  Included in Photo District News 30 emerging photographers of 2003. Recipient of 2006 Hungarian Cultural Center residency on Lake Balaton, Hungary.  Recipient of Connecticut State Arts Grant in 2008. He has been on the faculty of the School of Visual Arts, the International Center of Photography and Hunter College, CUNY. He has been a Guest Lecturer at Yale University, Yale University School of Architecture and Yale University School of Art.  Donaldson is currently a Lecturer at Yale University, School of Art.  Benjamin Donaldson lives in New Haven, CT.
